Don’t make Brim until after Sideburns are sewed on

Count the number of stitches on Cap between Sideburns

Ch that number PLUS ONE (I did 23)

Row 1. Sc in 2nd from Hook, sc across, turn (22)

Row 2. Ch1, Sc across

Sc around whole piece until you get to the beginning of previous round (In other words, just 3 sides)

Assembly

1. Sew on Hands to Arms (It helps if you match up the stitches from Row 7 on Hands to the last row on Arms)

2. Sew on Belly to Body (Make sure it’s centered)

3. Sew on Arms to Body

4. Sew on Head to Body

5. Connect Cap to back of Body with 3-4 stitches (Makes Cap removable)

6. Cut out Inner Ear from brown felt and sew on to Ears with needle and thread (or you can hot glue them on)

7. Position Ears on Cap and then sew on (It’s easier to sew on when Cap is removed)

8. Sew on Nose to Head

9. Sew on Mustache below Nose

10. Sew on Sideburns to Head (By the edge of Cap)

11. Crochet Brim now and sew on to Cap between Sideburns (Match up stitches)

12. Using White, Blue, and Black felt, create eyes and glue on to Head

13. With Brown yarn and a yarn needle, add eyebrows

14. Sew on Tail
